red carpet for Facing the Giants, to be premiered in its entirety without commercial
interruptions (on the world's largest religious network) on Sunday, September 21 at

Written, produced, and directed by the Kendrick brothers – Alex and Stephen – Facing
the Giants is the story of a down-and-out coach with a losing, underdog team; all
must pit their faith against their failings both on and off the football field.

"Never give up, never back down, never lose faith," says Susan Zahn, founding
director of WDC Media and publicist for TBN. "This is a film that will strengthen
your beliefs, rejuvenate your spirit, and emphasize the benefit of having a
relationship with Jesus Christ."

A football-themed movie from the award-winning producers of Flywheel, Facing the
Giants is an action-packed drama, an inspiring tale of coach Grant Taylor's six
losing years of coaching the Shiloh Eagles while at the same time enduring the
devastating news of his wife's infertility. Taylor manages to pull himself together,
and challenge his players to embrace what he knows to be true: with God, all things
are possible.

Mark Richt, head football coach at the University of Georgia since 2001, makes a
cameo appearance in two scenes of Facing the Giant. Richt said that after learning
about the Kendrick's new movie, he felt honored to be included because he was
impressed with their 2003 production, Flywheel.

The film also features Erin Bethea, James Blackwell, and Alex Kendrick as coach
Grant Taylor.

"The world premiere of Facing the Giants is another example of TBN's ever increasing
commitment to broadcasting thought-provoking programming for people from all walks
of life," reports Paul Crouch Jr., TBN's chief of staff. "Facing the Giants will
uplift viewers, while engaging both their mind and their spirit."

Facing the Giants is sure to be a movie experience that will inspire the entire
family to live with faith, hope, and love.
